WHY: Laura began her career at Cardiff weather Centre where she had her first taste of broadcasting on BBC radio Wales.
She joined the BBC weather centre and presented on a wide variety of outputs across the Network.
In Autumn 2012 Laura left the BBC to join ITV's "Daybreak", now "Good Morning Britain" as part of their new line up and loves being part of the team.
Laura is in demand on a wide variety of UK TV shows. Her credits include ITV's DRIVE in 2016 - which she nearly won, ITV Tonight "Wild Weather UK: Winners and Losers", the Alan Titchmarsh Show, Celebrity Tipping Point and numerous celeb commentary programmes for Channel 4 and Channel 5.
Laura's daughter Charlotte was born prematurely and in 2018 GMB worked with Bliss, the premature baby charity, and Hallmark to design a range of premature baby cards - the first in the UK. Laura continues to offer support to a range of premature baby charities.
In November 2019 Laura attended the international weather summit in Austria to talk to experts about the impacts of climate change on glaciers. In January 2019 Laura made headlines around the world when she challenged Australian MP Craig Kelly over his climate change views and the lack of links to the devastating wildfires.
