A pioneering project!
Having followed the story of Laura and her baby daughter Charlotte’s early entry into the world, Good Morning Britain and Hallmark have collaborated with baby charity Bliss to create a range of unique cards for sick and premature babies.
Laura led a focus group which included other mothers in a similar situation to her, discussing the awkwardness expressed by friends and family when it came to congratulating them on the new addition to the family. As a result, four different designs were created for the new card range.
These cards are available to buy now on Amazon, at selected Tescos and Morrisons supermarkets, as well as selected gift card shops around the country. 20 pence from each sale will be donated to the premature baby charity Bliss.
Ruth Turner-Blood, manager of the Writing Studio at Hallmark, said: “We are incredibly proud of the cards we have created to raise money for Bliss. We’d like to thank Laura and all the wonderful families with their incredible babies, for being so open in sharing their experiences.”
