Natalie Edwards – Head of Voiceover and Presenting Division
From dancing to the Spice Girls in front of the television to teaching Aqua Aerobics to a group of over 50’s in the peak Summer of Cyprus; Our Senior Voiceover and Presenters Agent, Natalie Edwards, certainly brings an energetic flair to the most creative office job you could possibly find.
Following on from a colourful and creative career, Natalie Edwards found her place at Excellent Talent to be a natural fit. She particularly enjoys working on any casting that is thrown in her direction as this is what truly gets the cogs-a-turning. When the voice is right, Natalie likes to picture the “Eureka!” thought-bubble above her head.
Being the perfect human sponge of knowledge, and with the natural performer just waiting for every opportunity to reveal herself, Natalie has been invited to Voiceover events across the UK (and virtually) to deliver pearls of Agent-y wisdom for budding Voiceover artists and those who wish to improve their business. (Throw in some karaoke at the after party, and you might be lucky enough to hear Natalie Hill sing her go-to song, That Don’t Impress Me Much by Shania Twain).
And to get to know Natalie even better, we asked her a few more – pressing – questions:
If you could compare yourself with any animal, which would it be and why?
One of my more obvious qualities is that I am very social and love to be around people so I naturally googled “list of the most social animal species”. The first result was a Termite… So, I think I’m going to ignore that one and choose option number 2 – a Meerkat. Much cuter!
If you got to choose a song that would play every time you entered a room, what song would you pick, and why?
Whenever I see this question, I’m told to imagine what song would play if I was entering a Wrestling match. I love music, so my answer changes with the wind, and this week it’s Power – Little Mix.
It’s a vibe – as they say on TikTok.
If you headed to the breakroom and discovered a live penguin in the freezer, what would you do?
Naturally, I would teach my new penguin the choreography to the song ‘Jolly Holiday’ from Mary Poppins and we shall perform to all of our friends.
